The success of the Michigan Nature Association relies on the support of people like you to accomplish our mission. With your support, MNA will continue to:
- Protect over 9,000 acres of land at 165 sanctuaries in 56 counties
- Conduct stewardship activities to protect native species, remove invasive species, construct trails and boardwalks, erect signs, and train volunteers
- Acquire, protect and maintain additional sanctuaries throughout Michigan
There are several ways you can help:

Contribute $250 or more between July 1st and December 31st and be entered to win an excursion to one of MNA’s premier sanctuaries as part of the 2009 Contribution Challenge. Click here for more information.

The Michigan Nature Association relies heavily on volunteers to help us carry out our mission. Are you interested in:
- Removing invasive species from a sanctuary?
- Building or maintaining trails?
- Leading field trips?
- Counting and Monitoring the species found at a sanctuary?
- Becoming a Sanctuary Steward?
- Helping out in the MNA office?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Michigan Nature Association needs your help! Every year we conduct hundreds of volunteer days throughout the state and we would love to have you join us for one or more of them. A current calendar of volunteer days and field trips can be found here. Email Paul Steiner for information on volunteering in the office.
Don’t see anything in your area? Email Natalie Kent for information on bringing more volunteer opportunities to your area.
