Last Chance to Sign Up for the 2011 Spring Adventure!

The Spring Adventure is fast approaching, and the bus is filling fast. Sign up now to avoid missing out on this, the first-ever Spring Adventure.

The Adventure kicks off Friday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. for those being picked up in Novi. Subsequent pick-ups will take place approximately an hour later in Lansing, and an hour later in Grand Rapids. Conclusion of the trip will be in reverse order on Sunday, May 1, with drop-offs in Grand Rapids at approximately 4:00 p.m. Subsequent drop-offs will take place approximately an hour later in Lansing, and an hour later in Novi. Exact locations of pick-ups and drop-offs are to be determined.

The highlights of the Adventure will be the seven special natural areas located in and around southwestern Michigan, each of which will have a speaker discussing the following topics:

Friday and Saturday night will be spent at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Dowagiac with day trips by tour bus to the sanctuaries. All food, transportation and lodging is being arranged by MNA staff, with tours and information provided by staff, stewards and volunteers.

So whether you enjoy plant identification, birdwatching, hunting for mushrooms, or just getting outside and enjoying nature, join us on our Spring Adventure, and help us make this an event to be remembered.

Spaces are limited, so please reserve yours by March 1at the MNA store. Prices are as follows:

  • $200 for a single ticket - includes food, transportation and lodging
  • $100 for a reduced ticket - includes food and transportation only (for locals)
  • note: reduced ticket holders must meet at the hotel in Dowagiac
