Allegan County This sanctuary is a conservation easement for a grove of American Chestnut trees in Allegan County. Allegan Valley Plant Preserve is a class C sanctuary. This means that the sanctuary can only be visited with the assistance of an MNA guide. Guided visits can be arranged by calling the office at 517-655-5655.
