Flooding caused by beaver dams.

Located west of Cedarville, Beaver Dam unsurprisingly is home to a number of beavers. The beaver dams create a wet habitat that is perfect for many varieties of plants and animals. Bird lovers will see Wilson's snipe, rare olive sided flycatchers, merganser ducks and great blue heron.

The beavers make great wetland habitat so it is suggested that visitors bring some waders. There are no well defined trails here due the constantly changing water levels.
