Memorial 1

24 acres in Lenawee County

Located off Sheller Road just west of Onstead Highway, Broehl Memorial is dominated by a nine acre marsh full of tamarack, yellowthroat, and wandering mink, and a nameless stream that flows into Wolf Creek on the northern edge of the property.

The sanctuary is one of two purchased by the generous bequest left to the Michigan Nature Association by Myrtle Frances Broehl.
