| Sanctuaries main |
42 acres in Schoolcraft County Located on the eastern shore of Cedar Lake, this sanctuary is not the easiest to get to but it is definitely worth it. The sanctuary can be reached either by walking an unmarked half mile easement from Calspar Grade Rd. or by canoe with permission of a homowner on the western bank of Cedar Lake. However you get there, once there you will see a variety of birds including: kingfishers, loons, ducks, geese, and sandhill cranes. |
