Kernan Memorial
45 acres in Huron County

Kernan Memorial forms the western coast of Whiskey Harbor. Not only is this area rich with history of Canadian Rum smuggling and shipwrecks, but this area is a great place to see migratory birds in early March and November including rare ducks, gulls and maybe even a jaeger or two. Bobcats have even been sighted by the local conservation officer.

The land was purchased as a result of a bequest from William Kernan of Bloomfield Hills.
