79 Acres in Baraga County Located northeast of Skanee and just inland from Huron Bay of Lake superior lies a beautiful wildlife haven. This marshland is a wildlife haven and you may see signs of beaver or moose if you look carefully. In the southeast corner of the sanctuary, there is a cedar swamp and an upland maple forest. To the northwest is a beach ridge covered with white pine. Flowing through the west end of the property are navigable water channels, which are part of a slough that eventually opens into Lightfoot Bay. |
