Martin Beland Miller
3 acres in Lenawee County

This property was given to the Michigan Nature Association by Otto Beland Miller in memory of his ancestors who owned it since 1839. For roughly 20 years, Otto’s father - James E. Miller - made maple syrup from this site’s numerous sugar maple trees.

Other tree species present include oak, hickory, basswood, and ash. Be sure to visit in the spring when the property is covered with a variety of beautiful wildflowers.
