Eagle Harbor Red Pine Dunes

An old bush road turned into a walking path provides access to this sanctuary, from M-26 about a mile west of Eagle Harbor. The bush road actually connects Eagle Harbor and Clark Memorial about a half mile away. Eagle Harbor consists of stablized sand dunes-a contrast to most of the rocky Keweenaw coast.

The sanctuary is also home to a beaver pond surrounded by leather leaf bog and oak pine.
