We missed seeing our members, donors and volunteers after canceling our series of in-person events in early 2020. For 2021, we will be working to bring new content to our members and supporters in a digital format.

Our "Michigan Nature at Home" Virtual Speaker Series will bring stories of Michigan's natural history, photography, and science to our viewers.

On January 14, we will host James McCommons, author of "Camera Hunter: George Shiras III and the Birth of Wildlife Photography” for a presentation and live Q&A session on his new book.

Then, on February 11, we will be joined by Greg Bodker, an MNA Annual Photo Contest winner and well-known nature photographer in the state. Attendees will learn more about birds as he demonstrates the joys of birding you can have both in your backyard and all around Michigan.

And on March 18, Michigan Natural Features Inventory plant ecologist Jesse Lincoln joins us to discuss the role that photographs play in his work.
